Dearborn, Michigan Resident Robert Flores Wins Opportunity to "Celebrate With The Cup" Dearborn, MI, May 1, 2001 ... The CCM division of The Hockey Company today presented Dearborn, Michigan resident Robert Flores with the grand prize in the "Celebrate With The Cup" consumer retail promotion. Driving through the streets of Dearborn on a Zamboni, a CCM representative dressed in goalie equipment delivered a trip for two to a Stanley Cup Finals game and various Detroit Red Wings apparel to Flores at his home. During Flores' trip to the Stanley Cup Finals, he and a guest will be able to spend time with the NHL representatives responsible for transporting and caring for The Stanley Cup, in order to experience the mystique surrounding hockey's greatest prize. "Even though my beloved Red Wings aren't going to be there, I'm going to proudly represent Detroit at the Stanley Cup Finals," stated Flores. "I never thought I would be able to go to a Stanley Cup Finals game, so I really appreciate CCM giving me this prize. I couldn't believe it when I saw CCM's Zamboni driving down my street." Thousands of hockey fans registered for the chance to with the grand prize of the "Celebrate With The Cup" promotion at over 800 participating retail stores throughout North America and via CCM's website (www.ccmsports.com). Every participating store had a winner of other prizes including official CCM/NHL team jerseys and caps.
