CCM Extends Alexander Ovechkin Promotion: " Buy His Skates, Get His Stick Free " Montreal, Quebec (Canada), July 13, 2006 - CCM is pleased to announce that it is extending its direct mail and advertising promotion "Buy His Skates, Get His Stick Free", until August 15, 2006. Hockey players across the nation who want to gear up for the upcoming season still have time to take advantage of this unrivaled offer. This promotion launched in June 2006, featured a personalized brochure which introduced the new ultra light Vector 10.0 performance gear. Inside the brochure, a tear-off coupon allows hockey players to receive the same CCM V10.0 stick as used by Alexander Ovechkin free of charge, with the purchase of V10.0 skates from a participating CCM authorized retailer. To take advantage of this offer, customers must simply fill out and mail the coupon, accompanied by their original store receipt and UPC bar code from the skate box to CCM. A total of 850,000 registered hockey players across North America have already received the promotion. The brochure was also inserted into various hockey publications including The Hockey News, reaching an additional 135,000 readers. Furthermore, the coupon can be downloaded and printed from the www.ccmsports.com website, or be claimed in one of CCM selected retailers.
