CCM Auctions Off Tavares' NYI Uniform After Photo Shoot Monies Raised during Auction to Benefit the Special Olympics Montreal, Quebec, Canada (August 5, 2009) — CCM Hockey, the brand synonymous with hockey equipment for more than 100 years, in conjunction with The MeiGray Group, is auctioning off the uniform John Tavares wore during a photo shoot with CCM.  Following the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, #1 pick overall, John Tavares, participated in a photo shoot with partner CCM on July 1st, 2009 in his New York Islanders Uniform. The jersey, socks and helmet he wore during the photo shoot were autographed by John, courtesy of Lucky Sports, and will be auctioned off on NHL.com. All proceeds raised during the Tavares/CCM auction will benefit the Special Olympics, John Tavares’ charity of choice.
