CCM© Unveils Vector™ Hockey Stick For Fall 2001
Montreal, Quebec, June 15, 2001... The CCM brand of The Hockey Company has unveiled the CCM Vector™ hockey stick for Fall 2001. From top to bottom the Vector™ raises the bar for stick design and performance. CCM's latest stick offering features a graphite-reinforced shaft; a brand new, visibly different composite blade and a new grip configuration.

The Vector's™ shaft, constructed of a fiberglass reinforced aspen wood core that ensures lightness and durability, works in concert with the all-new silver Texalium™ Matrix Composite (TMC™) Blade to produce a durable and stylish stick. The stylish TMC™ blade enables Vector™ users to benefit from higher strength-and stiffness-to-density ratios; better fatigue resistance; higher transverse stiffness and strength throughout the entire blade; and no moisture absorption. The Vector's™ Surround-Grip™ tops off the stick for optimal grip and feel that results in better puck handling.

Available in 60" senior models with two curve options: Recchi and Sundin, and in 52" junior models with the Sundin curve option, the Vector™ will be available at hockey specialty stores and sporting goods retailers beginning late-September 2001.
