CCM© Unveils The Highlander™ Recreational Ice Skates Montreal, Quebec, June 20, 2001... In response to consumer demand for a quality, all-purpose recreational ice skate, the CCM brand of The Hockey Company has announced the introduction of the new CCM Highlander™ Skate. A unisex skate, the Highlander™ is the perfect option for men, women and children who are looking for a warm and comfortable skate for those fun trips to the ice rink or the local pond. Suitable for all types of recreational ice skating activities, the Highlander™ features an endo-skeletal style boot that combines with a Velcro™ upper cuff strap to give recreational skaters the structural support and secure fit they need. A brushed velvet lining in the Highlander™'s boot offers enhanced comfort and warmth; while the outer Nubuck leather, Rhombic mesh and padded brushed suede enhance the skate's durability and give it a stylish look. The CCM Highlander™ is available in men's sizes 6-13, women's sizes 8-15, boys' sizes 1-5 and girls' sizes 3-7. The Highlander™ will be available at hockey specialty shops and sporting goods retailers beginning in Fall 2001. |
