CCM© Contributes to Edgefest in Toronto CCM© Outfits Ball Hockey Game at Edgefest Montreal, Quebec, July 10, 2002...CCM©, the exclusive supplier of jerseys to the National Hockey League, participated in this year's Edgefest, which took place in Toronto on the week-end of July 1st. CCM© provided hockey equipment to Goldfinger, a popular rock and roll band, who partook in a game of ball hockey. "The members of Goldfinger are major hockey fans and we identified this as a great opportunity for them to reach out and share this excitement and experience with their fans", said Yan Martin, Brand Manager for CCM©. Team Goldfinger, which included the actual band members and some of their lucky fans, played against team Edge during the one-day festival. "The Goldfinger Ball Hockey Event at Edgefest was incredible! The competition between the band and the radio station was intense, the contest winners had a blast, and the fans had something exciting to watch when taking a break from the stage performances. We couldn't have done it without CCM©'s participation. They were excited about making the event a success right from the beginning.
