What flex is recommended for a kids’ hockey stick?

The recommended flex for a kids’ hockey stick is between 10 and 30. The ideal flex depends on several factors. For younger players, kids, and beginners, a lower flex is preferred, as the stick will bend more easily. Shaft thickness and stick length are also important when choosing the right flex. A lower flex typically comes with a shorter shaft that’s better suited for small hands. As players improve and become more experienced at handling the stick and puck, their personal preferences and playing style will help determine the right stick and flex.
