What to think about when choosing the size of children's figure skates.
When choosing the right size of figure skates for children, make sure you don't buy skates that are too large. Measure the child's feet carefully and use our website's size guide. Expecting children to grow into ice skates is not a good idea. If the ice skates are too big, there's a risk of increased injury due to balance issues. The figure skates should sit comfortably on the foot whilst wearing a sock. Figure skates with ankle support are great for kids. The extra soft topline provides even more comfort. Stiffer ice skates are generally better for beginners, as they provide more stability.
