Bandy Skates

Bandy skates are designed for optimal mobility and speed on the ice. They have a lower shaft for better ankle mobility and a longer, straighter splint for increased stability and glide. Bandy skates are also lighter than ice hockey skates, making them more comfortable for longer sessions on the ice. Made of materials that provide both support and flexibility, they're perfect for the fast pace of bandy. Made in one piece (one-piece boot), CCM's bandy skates offer players faster power transfer and a better fit, for powerful cuts. The lightweight, rigid and thermoformable core performs superbly. The comfortable lining is also very durable. Multiple layers of foam protection provide seamless comfort and envelop the foot for ultimate comfort. The 7 mm thick felt plume with reinforced layers increases both comfort and protection. With our blade holder, it is possible to change and remove the blade quickly without the need for tools.

How should a bandy skate fit? A good fit on your bandy skate is the key to both comfort and performance. This is how you ensure that your skates fit as they should:
Length: leave about 0.5-0.7 centimetres between your toes and the front edge of the skate. This gives room for your feet to move naturally without the skate feeling too big.
Width: The skate should wrap the foot tightly but comfortably. Your foot shouldn't slide around inside, but shouldn't feel pinched either.
Ankle support: Bandy skates have a lower shaft to give you maximum mobility in your ankle. Make sure the skate provides adequate support without restricting your movements. Lacing: lace the skates so that they fit securely around both the foot and ankle. Avoid tightening too tightly, as that can cause discomfort or pain.
