How should the glove fit?
A perfect fit is essential for both comfort and performance. The glove should fit snugly but comfortably, with a maximum of 1 cm of space above your fingers. This gives you both great protection and optimal mobility. To ensure proper protection, check that the glove covers both your hand and forearm. Remember to choose the right hand: most right-handed goalkeepers wear the glove on their left hand while left-handed goalkeepers wear it on their right hand. Use the straps to adjust the glove to your hand. Experiment with different adjustments until you find the perfect fit for you.

What goalie glove break angle is recommended?
The choice of the angle of the goalkeeper's glove affects both responsiveness and the ability to catch the puck. CCM has two main break angles:
580 & 581: A steep angle This angle enables a quick and firm closure, similar to a "thumbs up" gesture, in which the fingers are pulled in towards the palm of the hand. This design is popular with goalies who prioritise a faster movement and want a tight fit.
590 & 591: The traditional closure The more traditional angle closes against the base of the thumb and provides a more natural and comfortable feel for many goalies. It offers a good balance between protection and mobility.
Which angle should you choose? Both angles have their advantages. The best one is a matter of personal preference, your playing style and your body type. A steeper angle can be advantageous for goalkeepers who want a fast and aggressive style of play, while a traditional angle can suit goalies who prioritise comfort and control.

How should the blocker fit? A well-fitting goalie blocker is critical for both comfort and performance. Here are some tips for finding the perfect blocker for you:
The fit is everything: The blocker should fit snugly around the hand without squeezing it. There should be enough space to move your fingers freely, but your hand should not slide around inside. Keep in mind that there should be a maximum of 1 cm of space above the fingers when the hand is placed in the blocker.
Use the straps: All blockers have different types of straps and buckles for adjusting the fit. Experiment with different adjustments until you find the position that feels most comfortable and stable. Protection is important: the impact should provide great protection for both your hand and forearm. Check that it covers all exposed areas.
Choose the right hand: Most right-handed goalkeepers wear the blocker on their right hand and left-handers wear it on their left.
Break in the impact: New blockers can be stiff. To soften the material and improve the fit, use the blocker during pre-match training.
